How to Prepare for Your Exterior House Cleaning Service

If you have hired us at Veteran Exteriors for exterior house cleaning services, you’re probably excited about how your home will look once we’ve completed the job. But before we get to that point, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your exterior house cleaning appointment.

How to Prepare for Your Exterior House Cleaning Service

While our soft washing services won’t necessarily damage things you leave outside, it’s a good idea to clear the area where we will be cleaning. We recommend removing any valuable or breakable items from patios and porches prior to our arrival. Our team will remove and replace everything else for you. Most of the time, this is included in our service pricing. If any additional charge is required, this should have been discussed and agreed upon during the estimate.

If we’re going to be soft washing an area near any windows or doors, make sure you fully shut all these entry points. We recommend double checking that all your windows are fully closed to make sure your interior stays dry. Also, if you have any known door or window leaks, please notify our team so that they can take extra precautions near that area and then place a towel inside the door or window to minimize water intrusion.

If you have pets, you may not want them coming outside while we’re cleaning. Prior to your exterior house cleaning appointment, secure your pets indoors and wait until we are completely done cleaning before letting them outside again.

If there’s anything else we need you to do before we come and clean your home, we’ll let you know. We’re committed to providing you with excellent exterior house cleaning services and going above and beyond to exceed your expectations. Contact us today if you have any questions or if you still need to schedule a cleaning appointment.
